Important Update for Peace River School Division Families

MPORTANT UPDATE FOR PEACE RIVER SCHOOL DIVISION FAMILIES:

Yesterday afternoon the Alberta Government announced new health measures for the province. The points that impact the operation of our schools and the division include:

o Grades 7-12 classes will move to Scenario 3 (at-home learning) on November 30, 2020 to December 18, 2020

o Kindergarten to grade six classes will continue at school until December 18, 2020

o All grades will move to Scenario 3 (at-home learning) for one week after the Christmas break (January 4, 2021 to January 8, 2020)

o In-person classes will start for all grades on January 11, 2021

o Diploma exams are optional for the rest of the school year. Students and families can choose to write an exam or receive an exemption for the January, April, June and August 2021 exams
